Interior Painting Tips.

Some points to keep in mind before you start to paint:

When you make your initial visit to your Home Hardware paint centre, take samples of all the materials to be used in the room-carpet, fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories.
Select several paint chips that you think will work well with your furnishings, keeping in mind that colours will be more intense on a wall than on a small paint chip.
Take the chips home and examine them in the room you will be painting - under both natural daylight and artificial night lighting.
If you are still not absolutely sure of your colour choice buy the smallest can of this colour and paint several samples on the wall. After they are dry study the colour next to several of the other materials that will be used in the same room.
If you are now sure about your colour choice, buy all the paint you will need for the project at the same time to ensure colour consistency. Ask your dealer help you estimate how much paint you will need.
